Sentient is an Earth observation intelligence platform. We turn raw satellite data into product-grade signals for oil spill response, biodiversity monitoring, wildfire detection, and harmful algae bloom forecasting.

Why now

Three trends made this possible:

• Sub-metre commercial imagery is no longer rare.
• SAR coverage is finally affordable at scale.
• Foundation models for geospatial data are catching up to text and vision.

We're starting with four product lines and a small set of capabilities — orthorectification, optical-SAR alignment, radiometric terrain correction, and geometric distortion handling — that the rest of the platform builds on.
